Importing photos asks for permission for camera access

Lightroom updated to where when you try to import and plug in your camera, it asks for permission for you camera. I didnt know what it was so I denied it and now it wont access my camera! 

How do I find how to grant access now? Really annoying to add that extra step in for no reason. 

 

This is for DSLR camera, it isnt showing up on my privacy and settings but it shows up on image capture. Im unsure whats going on and really need the help to be able to import again!

This is a tough one, because if you mean a DSLR connected via USB, then it’s not under the Camera, Files & Folders, or Full Disk Access settings in Privacy & Security. I don’t know how to reset the list of allowed/denied devices.

 

I don’t know if this is going to fix it, but one thing to try is to change the setting for Allow Accessories to Connect, and make it more permissive. If it’s currently set to Ask Every Time or Ask For New Accessories, try setting it to Automatically When Unlocked, or Always. For the details, go to the Apple help article below, and scroll down to “Change the setting for allowing accessories to connect.”

Has anyone had this happen and know how to fix it Adobe and Apple have been no help and I really need access to download my images

Please allow full disk access to Lightroom on macOS: 🔎 Quick Tips: How to give Full Disk Access to Lightroom Classic on macOS 

While in the Privacy & security window, check Photos Access & allow permissions for Lightroom.

That's been turned on so that isn't the issue
