Lightroom Mobile Edits Not Syncing Desktop

When I upload original photos into Lightroom CC, they will sync in LR mobile app quickly. However, if I make an edit to the photo in LR Mobile app, those edits will not sync to the LR CC desktop. It appears everything works if it originates from my desktop version and feeds to the mobile LR, but not the other way. All is on the latest versions. How do I get my mobile app to sync with LR CC? Thank you!

Same here.

Add new photos into Lightroom Classic, sync my album with Mobile

Then do the selection/edits on ipad and only a part of my work syncs back to the Lightroom Classic.

Waste of time since you then need to manually check what synced and what not and restart the work.

Go to your computer and optimize catalog. Go to file and an option will appear called "optimize catalog". This resolved the issue for me. I had the same issue as you, I import to my computer, edit on iPad, but the edits were not syncing back to my computer. Optimize catalog fixed it, you will have to restart Lightroom CC after optimizing.

Same issue here.

Lost an entire weekend's worth of work because edits from my laptop and ipad are not reflecting on my desktop computer with Lightroom Classic. Do they really expect professionals to put up with his crap for long? Fix this.

Ive had this issue for 2 years now. It works fine for a few months and then it stops. I've call support twice with no resolution. I've emailed, asked for superviosrs, still no resolution. Everything shows fine on adobe.lightroom.com but classic only a 3rd of the edits show. its beyond frustrating now. Once Capture one gets a better mobile app I'm switching. Paying for this software isnt worth it anymore. They add all these features just to not fix the one issues people are calling to be fix. FIX THE DAMN SYNC BETWEEN MOBILE AND CLASSIC!!!

Optimize catalog on your computer. This resolved the issue for me and my edits started to sync over from my iPad to my PC.

I don't think anyone at Adobe is listening, I'm still having the exact same problems I had over a year ago. Sync performance between the mobile app and Classic is terrible, I literally have to rebuild my entire sync data every time I make any edits in the mobile app for them to carry over to Classic (some sync and some don't, so it does work, it just doesn't work properly!). This really needs sorting as the user experience is dreadful!!

exact same issue for freaking months! I was excited to see over thanksgiving that one of my recent weddings was reflecting on my ipad. Took it with me over the weekend to complete some edits... 16 hours of work wasted. Nothing reflects on classic, now I have to re edit each photo in order to export for the client. When the heck will Adobe get their act together?

The only reason I haven't gone with any competitors is for the potentiality of a mobile sync which makes my business run smoother. At this time, Capture one is looking much more enticing.

I was frustrated by this issue for a long time as well until I found a workaround. Edits in my mobile app were not reflected in LR CC -- when I checked on their sync status in the mobile app it would say they are syncing, with a spinner, forever. Except not forever. Eventually they were reflected in the cloud. I figured out the user action that is necessary is to close the mobile app (Android). Once I do that the edits are reflected in the cloud, and when I reopen the mobile app I see I am "Synced and Backed Up". If this is still an issue for you I suggest trying that until Adobe fixes this bug.

Has there been any updates or fic for this yet??? I'm STILL having this issue and it's bringing my workflow to a slow crawl which is really unaccecpatable for an app who's main purpose for the editing and syncing of photos

Not that I know of. I still edit on my computer, save to my desktop, text the photo to my phone, then save to my camera roll-and for just $10/month 😏. I’m beginning to look at other options-

I'm having the reverse issue: I download photos from my camera directly into a new folder in my Lightroom desktop app. I delete ¾ of the photo dump out of the album and library, then edit the rest. When I access the album via my phone app, I see all the deleted photos and the remaining are in their original state. I'm updated on laptop and phone. I need to export my photos to my desktop, then email them to myself and download into my phone's photo album.  Given the phone app was free and I'm paying a hefty monthly fee for the larger desktop screen, it's tempting to go back to the phone only and just project onto my tv. I admit, I did not expect to see that there was no fix or successful support for this issue

Does the edit sync when you swipe to one of your next photos or navigate back to the grid view? Once you are in editing view and have pending changes applied the sync can only be forced via the top Cloud Status -> Force Sync.  Hope this helps. - Guido/ Lr QE .

I am experiencing similiar issue.  I have imported photos on desktop version. I could see all of them synced quickly to cloud and could access them on the mobile app. However, after I edited some photos and created new albums on the mobile app, I couldn't find them in the desktop version, even though both the mobile app and desktop version says all photos are "Synced and backed up". I have shared some of the albums via mobile app with my friends, friends are not receiving any notification also.

In the past I have done the similiar process before but there was no issue.  I suspected that this time it was because when I made the editing on mobile app, my mobile app was updated however the desktop version was not. But after after I updated the desktop version, the photos are still not synced.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Hi, I have the same issue as decribed above. And yes, I see the changes on LrWeb, but I do not see them in Lightroom Classic Desktop App. However, the issue is slightly different.. I see some changes and ratings that I made on some photos on iPhone and iPad, but I see no changes nor ratings on other other photos. Out of 270 synced photos I made changes to 100 (all changes were made on iPhone or iPad), but I see in the Desktop app only 50 edited photos. I checked the other 50 and tried to do the Force sync, but did not work. I experienced this also before but this was an issue just to one or two photos so I edited them again and did not look for the solution. Thanks

I have also been experiencing this same issue for 4 months now. I've spent countless hours on the phone and through email trying to deal with Adobe support. They have been unsuccessful at fixing the issue.  They don't even return my phone calls half the time.  I've tried every Fox that I've seen on the internet, but nothing works reliably.
