LR Denoise stopped working

This morning I was using Lightroom and the Denoise worked just fine. Now tonight I try to Denoise a picture, the progress bar shows up but doesn't get anywhere beyond the first dot.

Nothing.

Any insight? Thank you!

For some reason, it started working again. No clue why. I just walked away after trying to Denoise a certain picture so that it could have longer to do it, and it was 3 to 4 minutes later when suddenly it worked - out of nowhere. And I haven't had a problem with any other image afterwards. Thank you!

Thank you so much! For some reason, it started working again. I let that one image where it started have as much time as it needed to the noise. Three or four minutes later, it suddenly started working. No idea why. Haven't had a problem since. Thank you for your input!

Make sure your file is a RAW file. The denoise won't work with other types like JPEG. That is the only thing that comes to my mind at first.
