LR layout

I have just got a new computer and downloaded LR , but the layout is very different to what I had , which I purchased only 3 months ago. This is a screen shot of it. As I am not very experienced this is very confusing for me. Thanks in advance

You may have meant to download Lightroom Classic and downloaded Lightroom Desktop instead.  In your Creative Cloud App, you can install Lightroom Classic and see if it is as you remember it and then uninstall Lightroom Desktop if that is the case.
