Hey everyone! Welcome to our MAX edition of the Remix It! Challenge. This month we are celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Remix feature being introduced in Lightroom in Discover.  What to learn more about Remix? Check out Quick Tip #1: Make your photo Remixable and Quick Tip #2: How to edit Remixable photos in Lightroom. Let us know what you think in the comments below. 

How can you participate?

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Lightroom Desktop, iOS, or Android
2.  October Remix It! Challenge  ( Learn more about how to share a Remix in this Quick Tip.)
3. Share a screenshot & link to your Remix
4. Have fun and post a link to your Remix in the comments! (See the example below!) 
5.  Check back on October 31!  

About the photographer

My name is Celeste Guidice and I am a learner, doer and helper. When I am not coaching photographers in Lightroom or leading hands-on photography workshops, I am spending time with my family, flying my drone, traveling, nurturing my garden and cooking. Hi Kevin,

Thanks for asking. I inverted the image before I added any color. So essentially, I worked with a negative image. The smoke was black, not white.

Can you re-remix one of your previous remixed images?

Cool pic! I thought it may be fun to start by isolating the middle glass, thus the crop/aspect ratio change. Then, I got crazy and thought it might be fun to play around with colors a bit. I thought, "what would make this look refreshing to me?" Then I boosted contrast (quite a bit) as well as brought out some of that texture from the water condensation. Hope you like it. I enjoyed it. Thanks.
