Is there a way to Sync edits made to Lightroom for iPad to Apple Photos and iCloud?
Once edits are made in Lightroom, I would like those same photos to automatically sync back to Photos App on a Mac. That way I have one version of each photo. Make sense?

Lightroom's catalog will not sync changes to iCloud. You have essentially two paths you can take:
1. Export your edited photos from Lightroom to the camera roll, which will put a new copy into iCloud. There is no link, so any changes made later would have to be re-exported to the camera roll, and a new photo created each time.
2. Use Lightroom as your platform on the Mac. All changes made on LR on the iPad will sync to LR on the Mac (and vice versa).

Thanks Michael.
Follow-up question ... I recently subscribed to "Lightroom for iPad" (annual subscription through App Store on iOS) ... do you happen to know if that version works with a Mac version of Lightroom?
And if so, which version(s) (on the Mac)?
And can I connect the two ... given that I already subscribed to "Lightroom for iPad?"
Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark,
Your iPad subscription purchased through the App Store won't give you the Mac version. You'd have to have a subscription from Adobe for that, I believe. The Adobe plans are compared side by side on this page:
https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/compare-plans.html
Note that the Lightroom (1Tb) plan has then best plan for cloud storage space for the price, but doesn't include the iPad app. The Photography Plan (20Gb) does include the iPad app, but with only 20Gb of cloud space. The Photography Plan (1Tb) gets both space and iPad, but at a higher price.
I *think* you could combine the Lightroom (1Tb) plan with your existing iPad LR Premium subscription, as long as you use the same Adobe ID for both. But this is worth checking , perhaps one of the Adobe staff could clarify here? @Rikk Flohr: Inactive maybe?

Thanks Michael. And you anticipated my next question....@RikkFlohr ... or other, appreciate your insight in advance.
Thanks, Mark

Mark,
@Michael J. Hoffman has provided good information for you. I just want to make one clarification. The Lr (1TB) plan DOES include Lightroom for the iPad. It does NOT include Photoshop for the iPad, or the desktop. If you don't need Photoshop (but someday you probably will) the Lr (1TB) plan is your best option.

Hi @Theresa J , I misread what I was seeing on the linked page. It is "Photoshop for iPad" that is not included in the 1Tb plan. Sorry for my confusion.

You can think of Lightroom and Apple Photos as competing products. Both sync your images through a cloud service but not the same cloud service. Lightroom is an Adobe service, and Photos is an Apple service. They don't talk to each other. Google offers a competing service too that doesn't talk to Lightroom or Photos.
Are you wanting to do this so that your edits will sync back to your computer? If so, use Lightroom on your computer too and you will see the edits made with Lightroom on your phone.
