Unable to cancel the function "display importation dialog box when a memory card is detected"

The box "display importation dialog box when a memory card is detected", in the main menu of Lightroom is not active but the importation panel still opens when I connect a memory card or an external HDD. There should be a bug.

Check the AutoPlay settings in Windows. Possibly you have either (or both) Removable Drive and Memory Card set to "Import into Lightroom xx". I believe that would override the LrC Preferences, so maybe change the settings to "Take No Action".
