Apple iMac M3

Lightroom Version 8.1.1.

please be so kind and tell me to stop the trial subscription. Adobe was promissing that Nik collection is easily to install - it's not. You cannot add it to the plug ins - neither in PS nor LR.

Could you please help me?

FYI. I can even use the 'very old' Google version of Nik as plugins in Lightroom v8.2.

To add one of the Nik modules to the menu I went:  MENU > File > Edit In > Browse...   and selected the Nik app in file browser. Now have Color Efex and Silver Efex in the [Edit In] menu.

Lightroom Desktop has been able to use 3rd Party Plugins since version 8.1 (December 2024). I currently have Nik installed and functional.

Lightroom does not support plugins, only Lightroom Classic does. You should be able to install it in Photoshop however.

If you can't, then perhaps you should contact DxO.
