Lightroom is an absolute farce! Why make it so difficult to use?
I feel conned into buying this programme!!
I have spent 3 hours trying to find a supposed "saved" photo with no joy.
I just want to email the bloody photo, for God's sake!

Hi @Robert27727040yw2f — welcome to the community! I’m really sorry to hear you’re running into trouble with Lightroom. That can definitely be frustrating.
Could you share a few more details about what’s going on? For example, which version of Lightroom you’re using and how you saved the photo. If you’re able to include a screenshot or two, that would be super helpful for us to better understand the issue.
Thanks so much!
Alek

Hi Alek,
I have no idea how, or even if, it was saved.
After wasting 3 hours, it is somewhere completely irretrievably lost because the new Macbook I had bought specially to use for Lightroom 14 now lies at the bottom of the garden in approximately 1, 347 different pieces!
That's how frustrating bloody Lightroom made me feel this afternoon.
I can do without the stress this totally useless programme has made me feel.
Why make it so difficult to understand and use? What is the point?

There are two different types of Lightroom:
Lightroom Classic (where photos are stored on Local Disc)
Lightroom (where photos are stored in the Cloud and are synced across mobile devices).
There is a lot of tuition online for both (although due to Adobe's naming - Lightroom Classic used to be called Lightroom) finding the correct tuition can be confusing!
I guess the another question is what where your goals and expectations when your first started using the App?
I for instance don't use Lightroom Classic (which I think you have installed) as I didn't want my photos stored on hard discs as I wanted to view them on all devices and easily share with others.

I was only using Lightrrom not the Lightroom Classic version on the advice of a friend who works in the local camera shop.
Have given up now, I guess at 70 years old there are some things that I will never get a handle on.
Back to improving the golf swing now!
Thanks for the reply though.
Rob
