Now that LRM has the ability to do HDR photos with the built in camera, it would be nice to also be able to produce HDR images with imported photos. It should be fairly easy to implement since the coding is already done for the camera.
If for just 5 minutes you folks would listen to your users, you would STOP spending time creating "filter packs" and START bridging the gap between LRM and LRC (file name change on import, batch keywords, etc, etc, etc).
oh, look!!!! a new LRM release!!!! Oh, "joy" another filter pack release.
With the recent announcements at WWDC around iPadOS 16 support swap memory and a lot of other desktop class frameworks, I'm hoping the last barriers to enabling HDR and Pano merge have been eliminated. I know that may be a more narrow solution then some people may like since it is only for M1 iPad Pros, but those of us with them paid a lot of money for a professional tool and having the full functionality of Lightroom would take the iPad one step closer to being a full mobile replacement for a desktop creativity tool. Here's to hoping!
please make it possible to enfuse bracketed photos in Lightroom mobile (on the ipad pro), it is possible in Lr classic but not in Lr mobile, as a photographer i miss that on the ipad pro...
we make bracketed pictures, and then enfuse the RAW files
HDR Merging and Panoramas aren't available yet in Lightroom Mobile. Upvote on the following thread so the popularity can be seen by the engineering team:
1. Please enable HDR capture in Adobe lightroom mobile camera app.
I am currenlty using Samsung Galaxy A52S 5g, a phone with snapdragon 778G, a quad camera set up and 8GB of ram, plus a 256GB of storage. Needless to say this phone is pretty much capable to handle HDR capturing in Adobe Lightroom mobile. However it is not supported, yet. Please 🙏 adobe fix this.
2. Would you please give us PNG.
Please let us save our eddits in PNG format. We know that Tiff is more looseless when it comes to compression, and Jpg is widely accepted formats. But Tiff has the worst compatibility and Jpg is extremely loosey. So please 🙏 plesase 🥺 adobe enable PNG. We have been asking for this feature for a long time.
5 years later and still not even a hint of any progress made in implementing this feature in Lightroom Mobile. All of Adobe mobile apps are laughably bad and they don't seem to have any plans to improve them. If the mobile apps weren't included with Adobe CC I can't imagine anyone would ever pay for them. Adobe present-day apps in 2022 still can't even compete with competitors' apps from 5 years in terms of features or reliability and I don't see this changing anytime soon.
I recently received an iPad Pro 5th Generation and have been using Lr Mobile. I was very disappointed to learn that Lr Mobile would not do merges and HDR.
I would encourage Adobe to put this near the top of their list to correct. Mobile devices are getting more powerful and should be able to handle merges and HDR. If nothing else, it could be done in the cloud.
When can we see HDR merge of multiple imported photos please? As a user of an M1 iPad 12.9, I don't think hardware resources is an issue. Also, I would not have to lug around the heavier MacBook Pro on short trips just to have the HDR Merge feature; or use Affinity Photo- which whilst it works on iPad, does require significantly more granular adjustments to get the 'pop'.
HDR merge is not available on the mobile versions. Indeed the M1 iPad should easily be able to do it but Adobe hasn't programmed it into the mobile OS versions indeed. There is a feature request on this forum you should add your voice to.
It would be nice to see the HDR Merge coming to iPadOS. I know that it can eat ram and CPU power, but as for the M1, it would be powerful enough to do that. Also, the M1 on Mac-based computer, can already do that
Personaliy, the non-existing HDR Merge is the only reason why I don't buy a iPad Pro. It would have been great to use that instead, and help my workflow a lot, if I could let my MacBook stay on the desk, and use a iPad more, when I am out the house
I am missing this as well. It makes no sense to me, that there is no HDR-Merging-Option in the mobile version. The cloud-based Lightroom and Lightroom Classic on the mac can merge HDRs. When I am travelling, I take often pictures with different exposures. I only travel with iPad, so there is no possibility to merge them, while I am on the road. Please add that to Lightroom Mobile on the iPad.
