P: Enable photo merge (Pano & HDR) with imported images

Now that LRM has the ability to do HDR photos with the built in camera, it would be nice to also be able to produce HDR images with imported photos.  It should be fairly easy to implement since the coding is already done for the camera.

Is there a "merge" feature in Lightroom Mobile? I used to use a PC desktop and be able to "merge" multiple photos to make it a panoramic picture. Now I am using the app on my iPad Pro. I can't find that feature.

That feature isn't (yet) available on the mobile version.

Thank you for responding. Hope they are working on it because it's a great feature for landscape photography.

I'm a serious photographer (for more than 50 years),  but I haven't owned a computer for several years now.  I'm fairly sure there are a lot of us. As I now shoot with a Fuji X100v; when I need a wide ultra wide angle shot I stitch photos. It's a real pain since LR mobile on my Android tablet or phone doesn't do stitching. I must carefully process the raws all the same, then export to Samsung Gallery as JPGs,  then import into the Biostitch app, then after stitching export back into LR Mobile.  How about some help Adobe!

The 1TB models now have 16GB of RAM! They are more powerfult than a lot of laptops and a great tool to edit photos on the go or in realtime in front of a customer. I am a professional areial photographer and it helps to be able to complete my shoot at the job site. I wish they would include a package of Lr that has ALL or most of the features of the desktop version.

I use this feature extensively in architectural photography, and it's lack of presence in the mobile version is preventing me from adopting mobile over classic.

Please add HDR merge capability to the iPadOS version of Lightroom. This is the only missing feature that precludes me from relying entirely on an iPad to manage my images.

I shoot primarily landscape and macro photos.  I would love to be able to use an ipad pro for all of my photo editing needs.  Merging photos is the last major thing I am waiting on to be able to make this change.  I would like to see the Lightroom version for ipad be able to merge photos just like the desktop version (HDR, Panoramas, and HDR Panoramas).

I'm in the same situation. Would really like to see Lightroom mobile implement support for HDR Merge, so that I can do HDR merges of my DSLR photos on iPad.

It would be very beneficial to have a HDR raw image merging available for Lightroom mobile. Some mobile devices outperform older computers and it would definitely benefit the majority of Lightroom mobile users.

Hi,
As far as 2016 this has been asked for.
I do a lot of panoramas and this is a bit frustating that I have to merge panos in other devices!

Regards,
Paul.

Adding to the volume of comments here -- not being able to merge photos on iPad kills Lightroom Mobile for me. I want to only rely on one device for editing while traveling. Such a disappointment after betting on iPad Pro / Lightroom and then finding this thread..

Hello. It will be very nice to be able to create panoramic photos with lightroom mobile. I think that's the only downside.

Good luck!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're here to help. Currently, merging is not possible in Lightroom Mobile. Also, we understand the concern and will try our best to make the software better.

Our users already request this feature; Have a look: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-ideas/p-photo-merge-pano-amp-hdr-with....

Please Upvote the post if you are looking for something similar.

Our product team monitors this forum, and they might look into implementing it.

Regards,

Ranjisha

It's been 5 years since this first post about HDR merging for Lightroom CC and plenty of replies. When will the Adobe team realize this is something professionals really need to make mobile work complete? Is there any traction or roadmap for this development after all these years?

Adobe is far too busy creating "filter packs" for us than actually creating actual useful new features for LRM.  There are bunches of simple things that Adobe could fix NOW -- like being able to change the name of an imported image automatically, batch key wording, etc.  But, Adobe has decided to spend its time on filter packs to "wow" us.
