Question

Access token is expired

After installing Lightroom CC 1.0 every once in a while I would get an error 67 and would require me to sign out and sign in again.  This would happen every few days or so.  Now, since upgrading to LR CC 1.1 the error 67 has gone away but is now replaced with the following error "Your access token is expired" Please sign out and sign in again.  Signing out and signing in again does not work.  It's only after I reboot that it will fix the issue, albeit temporarily.

Is anyone else having this issue?  It's a bit frustrating.  Any thoughts?  Is there any sort of log that is captured so I can see why it's erroring out?

SO I had this problem and I would sign out and back in and it never worked. I seriously tried it like 15 times. Make sure that when you are signing out and it shows all the adobe applications appear that you own, BE SURE TO CLICK ON LIGHTROOM SO THAT A BLACK BOX APPEARS AROUND IT. if you do this it should work. That was my problem. Hope it works.

A nice man on the adobe chat was able to solve this problem. Here are the steps he posted

from: Validating Software License Loop

Activation issue windows

1) Close all adobe related processes in task manager (Core sync, services for adobe desktop app, adobe desktop service, Adobe IPC broker, AAM updater)

2) Navigate to following locations and assign the current user full permissions to adobe folders. (Right click on adobe folder select properties then click security tab , click edit and select current user you are signed in with , select full control , click apply and then ok)

C://program data (enable view hidden files to see this folder)

  C://program files 86x/common files

  C://program files 86x/

  C://program files/common files

  C: //program files/

3) rename SLstore to Slstore.old at following location c://program data/Adobe/

4) Rename SLcache to Slcache.old at following location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

4) Navigate to c://users/username/appdata/local/adobe/oobe and rename Opm.db to opm.old

5) Navigate to c://windows/system32/drivers/etc/ and open hosts file using notepad. IF you see any Adobe entry there please replace that hosts file with a new hosts file which does not have any adobe entry. If there is no Adobe entry leave the hosts file as it is.

6) Launch cc app and sign in .

Same issue! Brand new computer, running Windows 10, Pentium 7 processor. I had 2 good months of using Adobe Lightroom.. then all of a sudden! I have done all the Adobe updates, restarted the computer, read all of the above comments, scratched my head and.. now what?

Getting behind on deadlines!!

Where we at with this Adobe!?!?!?

Just paid for a Photography subscription and installed Lightroom CC this morning. Haven't been able to launch the app because I'm having the same issue as reported above. Very disappointing.

EDIT: After restarting, uninstalling all Adobe programs, reinstalling them and restarting again, I was able to log in.

Same problem here. I've previously had to sign out and sign in again to open LR CC, which was annoying enough, but now I get the same message on a loop so I'm unable to access it at all. I agree with everyone else that this is so annoying. Please fix ASAP. I'm also out-of-pocket for a couple of hundred dollars because I bought the stand-alone version which, despite numerous hours on Live Chat I could not get to work, so I eventually had to resubscribe to a plan.

Edited photos for my uni work, went to export them for printing and I've had this error... going to have to re-edit them all on photoshop, but it's so annoying when working with RAW files.

I can confirm that I am having this issue. I have no idea what is going on.

Photoshop works perfectly fine. It's just lightroom CC that comes up with "an error occured while signing in Lightroom CC "your access token is expired". Please sign out and sign in again". I signed out, I signed in. Same problem.

I really can't afford to reinstall windows. I don't get how this isnt an issue with photoshop but is an issue with lightroom CC.

I have to add though that Lightroom CC works perfectly fine on my desktop windows. It's just on my laptop windows that it is having issues.

This is ridiculous. This issue has been reported LAST YEAR and we still have no fix? The whole internet works on services where a user needs to log in, this is a problem which has literally been beaten to death and Adobe cannot get a working login shipped to customers who pay a shitload of money for a product which they cannot use? ARE YOU JOKING ADOBE? IT'S A BLOODY LOGIN WHICH YOU NEED TO GET RIGHT. HIRE SOME FREAKING COMPETENT DEVELOPERS AND FIX THE PRODUCT OR STOP CHARGING MONEY FOR IT MEANWHILE!!!!
