P: bracket keys not changing brush size

On the latest version of Photoshop beta, 25.11, my bracket keys are no longer chnaging my brush tip size.

There is a known issue with the latest beta version V25.11 m.2679.  It appears that square bracket shortcuts have been used for the new Layer Bounds feature.  To fix this go into Edit > Keyboard Shortucts > Tools and remove those shortcuts.  The square brackets will then adjust brush size again.

I have some problems about shortcuts in photoshop bata app. When I try to increase or decrease brush size by shortcut [ and ] , It's doesn't work. But this shortcut is usable in Photoshop 2024.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but the issue persists. Could you please provide additional troubleshooting advice?

Hello, after updating to 24.11, the Brush increase and decrease size shortcuts are not working (keys [ and ] respectfully).

This includes both then using the brush tool or when using the brush tool for a mask.

Hey Adobe, we are seven pages deep here....we figured out the workaround but, like, this is a really important function for us photo editors.  The gold standard of editing software is hopefully *on* this.  I live one town over from San Jose...can I bring you guys some sandwiches and Sprite if you're willing to work through lunch?  TIA  🙂

This is a known issue caused by the same shortcuts being used for the new Layer Boundry feature.  I am sure it will be fixed very shortly, but for now, you can delete the shortcuts in Edit Shortcuts > Tools It's right at the bottom of the list.

I've moved your post from Photoshop to the Primary thread in the Photoshop Beta forum. 

Adobe assigned the bracket keys shortcut to another function. They need to be removed from Layer Bounds as explained by Cory in the pinned post until Adobe fixes it.
