I don't know if it happens to anyone but I have problems with Generative Expand or Generative fill. When I use any tool in PS (Beta), it doesn't fit the process well, as you can see in the pictures I share, it is not aligned to the landscape or the figures that the AI should follow.
Another screen of a mountain landscape that I want to continue horizontal and the same thing happens with the Generative Expand tool
m.2308 the latest update is better one in all v25 version but still not as good as 24.7? What cause this issue? The update should make the version better, but it get worst.
The issue with the seams between original image and generative expand are better but the results from both expand and fill are subpar now. The AI results are fuzzy and look fake now.
Thanks for your input. I reinstalled Beta and have now updated my graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER). I see your point and I will be adjusting my expectations to match the apps limitations.

@CShubert please, you've tagged this issue as corrected but it's not at all! For some changing to European 3 worked, and updating worked but for others it didn't and you stopped replying to us. Can't you see so many of us still having the same issues? Please, please! This has been going on for way too long! Please do something!
I have been using Generative Fill a lot lately, but recently I have noticed that when it creates a fill for something pretty simple (like sky, or sand) it produces a result that looks fine other than the tint being inconsistent with the adjacent areas. See the lower left corner to see what I mean.
J'ai le même probleme. L'assitance n'a pas su corriger le souci même en prenant la main à distance. J'espère que la prochaine mise a jour résoudra le probleme car ça rend le remplissage génératif inutilisable.
Hello, been using the new generative fill since launched but last couple of weeks everything that produces is is overexposed. I thought it may be fixed eith an update but doesnt solves anything.
I'm currently on Photoshop 25.1.0 and Mac OS X Ventura 13.2.1 on a 2019 Macbook Pro.
Hi all, for those of you still seeing this issue, the team has some asks to help us find out why you are still having this issue while most are not...
The color variance that looks to be occurring with 16 bit images. If you are one of the customers hitting this issue: 1. Is your image 16bit? 2. How are you getting the image into Photoshop? 3. In Photoshop what is your working RGB space in Edit/Color Settings 4. In Color settings/ Conversion options which color engine is being used, and what is the rendering intent set to? 5. Please grab a screen recording of the full session, and full application window of the issue happening 6. Do you have a file that you can share that shows the problem?
To share the file, either use a cloud sharing option or send to shubert@adobe.com
In my case, Adobe was cleaned the app with a program downloaded from their platforms. The process is relatively simple but you must be guided by an agent. They need to check well the operating system, performance do you have and then proceed with the solutions
@CShubert sent you an email with image, replies to your questions and video recording, please fix the problem, it was working great before the last updates
I have version 25.1.0, but the problem is still hanging. I think it is a bug that needs to be cleaned up. In my case that's what I did with the online Adobe support agent and the problem was fixed
since some time I fight with an issue. As exmaple : I extend the canvas to get quadratic and match the X or Y resolution. Then I try to uncrop with content aware tool or generative fill, but it never matches perfect. Always there is some kind of nasty lines at the joints between old image and new content. It is sad, because both tools work excellent, but this issue drives me crazy. Does anybody have this issue too, or I'm the only one with it? It is possible to clean up this issue, but I would expect that it is not necessary. Or is there some kind of trick?
The issue happened over different versions of Photoshop and also in the Beta 25.0.0.
I'm used during this time Windows 10 and actually Windows 11.
Intel I7 Gen 9 - RTX 4000 and different driver versions during this time.
@CShubert it just now work. It doesn't matter on which colour depth you are. 8, 16, 32, all being the same result. And secondly, i believe the issue not just happened among us, who complained here. It probably just because they don't, or don't know, or just wait. I tried in my colleague devices, It come out the same results. All setting in the software is default, and WHY this issue never happened on 24.7. It's a same setting. And 1 more thing I thing many people didn't raise up here, all the gerenerated part is a bit blur. This also doesn't happen on 24.7. Probably TEAM adobe should back to source code to 24.7 and restart from there.
