I am using the latest version of Photoshop Beta 26.6.0 and am trying to create an Embroidery effect on a 8 Bit RGB image using Parametric Filters, however I am not getting any effect at all instead the image renders with a 'grainy, white noise', is anybody else experiencing this issue ??
Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

I'm using the latest version of Photoshop (Beta) with the interface set to English. I'm trying to use the "Embroidery" filter from the Parametric Filters menu. However, when I select it:
It simply duplicates the layer I applied it to
No effect is applied
No adjustment controls appear
I have tried the following steps:
Reinstalled Photoshop Beta
Ensured I have an active internet connection
Set Photoshop language to English
Confirmed that the "Technology Previews" tab is visible, but no related settings are available
Tried applying the filter to different types of layers (image, painted content)
Waited for the filters to load in case of background syncing
Other parametric filters also do not seem to work correctly. Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if there's a workaround?

Fully close PS Beta
Delete the "C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Required/Plug-ins/Filters/MaterialFilter.8bf" file
Delete the "C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Required/Plug-ins/Filters/MaterialSuite.8li" file
Delete the "C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Required/UXP/com.adobe.photoshop-material-filters" Folder
Uninstall PS Beta
Reinstall PS Beta
Open PS Beta and attempt to apply a filter again.
It is possible that these files failed to update correctly.

Hola yo también estoy teniendo problemas con el filtro de bordado. en mi caso si carga cuando lo selecciono pero al mover los ajustes ningun otro cambio es aplicado, se ve igual a la primera versión que me generó

After upgrading Photoshop (Beta) to v 26.8 today, the "Parametric Properties" panel for parametric filters stopped working. (It was working fine just a few days ago.)
When adding a new parametric filter, the Parametric Properties panel populates with options, but changing their values has no effect on the image. Additionally, after deselecting the layer and reselecting it, the Parametric Properties panel will not show options anymore. It just says "Select a layer that contains a Parametric Filter to view and edit its properties", even though the layer containing a parametric filter is clearly selected in the Layers panel.
Additionally, right-clicking on the layer and selecting "Edit smart filter..." has no effect.
This issue appears to affect all parametric filters (I've tried both Embroidery and Halftone). I'm testing with a simple 8-bit JPEG image. I was hoping to use the Embroidery filter for a project due in two days, so upgrading the beta version has been a major setback.

Hi Jasmine. Can you describe what you are seeing? Maybe add a screen shot?
I have just tried it and have found that while it does initially create a pattern, I am then unable to affect it in any way by adjusting its Properties, and if I click away and back to the layer, I am unable to regain access to those properties. I have used it a number of times in the past, and it is not working as I remember it. @CShubert can you test please?

Once I apply a parametric filter in ps BETA v.26.8 it won't apply the settings i change, so all i have is a the filter preset to work on. This is no the only bug I experienced with this version of ps beta, and after the fact that the software does not let me save the document after I apply my camera raw filters, my experience with ps these recent days has been frustrating.
