P: parametric filter not working

in the previous version they worked, but now there is no change whatsoever when applying any of the parametric filters to an image.

I can successfully apply the embroidery filter to my artwork, but nothing I change in the Parametric Properties panel will ever update again. Furthermore, if I select a different layer (which clears the Parametric Properties panel), reselecting the layer will not allow me to see the properties panel again. It's as if it doesn't see it at all.

I have tried to work from a smart object, from a rasterized object, etc. The only thing that seems to reapply the filter as if something changed is if I resize the artwork. That said, it still just applies the same parameters it defaulted to when I applied it.

Same effect on Win 10 laptop and M1 Mac Mini.

Parametric filters do not work at all. I already cheked with community reports so mi file is 8 bit, rgb, reinstalled the Photoshop Beta, ran Adobe CC Cleaner, etc. Pressing any filter just duplicates my layer

Please tell me why the Paramentric Filters do NOT produce any results.
There is a spinnig "progress" wheel as if something is going to happen, but nothing happens. This has been the case in many beta versions.

The parametric filters do not load for me either and crash Beta when I try to load them. Here's the crash report:

It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

@neal s55961959 you could also run the GPU check and make sure you system passes.

Launch Ps and go to the top menu bar Help/GPU Compatibility and share what you see.

this filter is the only one that doesn't work when you take actions such as reinstallation, installation of other versions, etc.

In the Photoshop Beta version, all Parametric Filters work as expected except for the Embroidery Filter. When a layer is selected and the filter is clicked, nothing happens. The filter does not apply or show any response.

Hi have done this and followed every recommendation in the thread and still to no avail. On the layers tab the image doesn’t even show up on the newly created smart object, it just disapears. The original is kept though

*update tried on another computer and worked? the computer i tried on had lower specs too??? exact same method and everyhting just different computer. Failed on a MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2018, Core i7 16gb RAMm. It worked on some old maybe 2016 ACER Aspire
