P: Photoshop Beta Generative Fill produces different colors at the edges of the selection.

When trying to add additional areas to the edges of an image using Generative Fill, it creates mismatched colors at the junction of the new and existing parts. It deviates slightly from the original areas, resulting in a grid-like pattern in those areas where new parts were created using the Generative Fill option, even if I fill them with 1024x1024 pixel sections.

I have already uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but the issue persists. I am using an iMac Pro running Ventura 13.3.1 system.

After a few days of panic, I think i got it to work.

I set the color morde (Edit/Colors to European 3 general (sorry I have PS in French so I'm not sure how accurate is the English translation). Didn't change any setting there.

Then opening from Lightroom classic (last version: 12.5) to the very last Photoshop Beta (25.1.0) as ProPhotoRGB (16bits), I don't have the color mismatch anymore.

If this works with other users, I suggest having like a default reset of the color mode for photoshop beta users. I'll test with other images but for now it seems to solve the issue for me.

I think I have a solution for those problems connected to the color profile: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-bugs/p-photoshop-beta-generative-fill-produces-differe...

Wondering if this is still an issue with the latest beta release?

Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.1.0 20230830.m.2308 f86a029
Uninstall your current build and install the latest using the Creative Cloud desktop app.

It was. I tested today's update and searched for a real workaround as it still did the same bug until I set the color mode to European 3.

So when is this going to get fixed? It's not the first time we've seen this bug and eventually it gets fixed, but it''s taking too long this time.

@CoryShubert any news? (latest version installed, tried everything, etc).

Indeed the workaround with European 3 works here.
Not sure about the impact if printing?

For some time now, as I've been using Photoshop Beta's Generative Fill, the portion I generate has an orange halo and doesn't blend well with the rest of the photo.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling photoshop beta, updating, resetting settings, but nothing works.
I am attaching a couple of screenshots for you to understand better.

@Gianluca Mazzaconiglio

I've moved your post to Photoshop Beta — the released version of Photoshop does not have generative fill (yet).

[EDIT on September 30: Generative Fill is now in the released version 25.0]

Set it to Europe General Purpose 3 quit photoshop and reopen and then try on a new image if it works.

It will not make an already made layers color look correct.
