Using AI generative fill, or the remove tool, removes the existing transparency of selected parts of the image. My current workaround is to duplicate my working layer before using AI, but I think this is a bug that should be fixed.

Here are some before and after pictures. The first photo has transparency for the picture mockup. (Looks white in this pic.) After using the remove tool to paint out the darker line above the picture frame, the picture is now filled in with a solid color and the transparency is gone. I only used the Remove Paintbrush to paint out a section of the wall, but the inside of the picture frame was flattened with shadows added.

@carole62539793 we see this as well. As a workaround, turn OFF AI and the remove tool will not effect the transparency of the file, but we will see if this is as expected or if this is a bug.
