Hi,
I have a picture A with a dog whose snout didn't quite fit on it anymore. In a photo B - also opened in PS Beta -, the same dog can be seen with a complete dog snout.
How can I use generative fill to complete the dog's snout and tell PS Beta to use photo B, which is also open, as a guide for this purpose?
Thanks and kind regards
Sidney

Hi @Sidney30981623grhq that workflow is not part of the Generative Fill beta. Currently the GF uses text to image prompts to generate new image materials, not using external sources.

thanks for your reply!
As far as I know, the Generative Fill (GF) also works without text input. At least in my PS beta!
In different sources in the WWW it is pointed out that for the generative filling the opened picture is analyzed, in order to consider the analysis result with the GF.
For certain color replacement functions, the user can specify a source, which can also be an image opened in another TAB. In this respect, the question is obvious whether such a reference to an image opened in another TAB can also be specified for the GF.
Thanks and kind regards
Sidney

Hi @Sidney30981623grhq "text to image" is the process - not that you have to enter text in the prompt to generate a result. At least for now, Adobe has chosen to limit their AI to their own sources and purposefully not allowing external sources for liability reasons. If you are wondering why Google the lawsuit from Getty Images and Stable Diffusion AI.
