In the latest update to Photoshop CC 2018, character leading is broken. I cannot type into the box or manually adjust with the up down keys. This is a bit of a showstopper...

This should be resolved in the 19.0.1 update released last night. Please update Photoshop using the Creative Cloud desktop app, and let us know if it's fixed for you!
My comment was for Ina who cut & paste a response dozens of times and clogged up my inbox, hence I won't be following this thread any longer. I only experience the type issue, everything else is going well.
Please don't post the same to everybody all the time since all subscribers get a notification with each reply you make. Posting it once should be enhough if a person has interest in this topic.
My comment was for her too and I agree with you. She's just trying to help but maybe didn't realize all participants are getting the same notification all the time. Cheers!
I have the same issue on Mac (Sierra 10.12.6), everything in English. While the type on the text box is Aril - everything works fine. As I change it to Proxima Nova - the same problems as above appears
I found a bug when manually changing values inside the leading text field (Character Panel) the text doesn't want to change. When backspacing the text cursor jumps to the end of the text and the values change automatically to random values.
New Photoshop CC 2018 has a bug with "Interligne" (in French - "Vertical spacing between lines" in English i think). We can't manually change this value, and if we use the mouse to modify the value by clicking on the icon, it's impossible.
This is consistently interrupting my workflow, Resizing assets is a large part of what I do and not being able to transform text is significantly slowing me down. Any updates on a fix?

Almost all flaws and bugs in the text module are past in my case. Thanks! I have still a small issue with 'paragraph panel / first line indent' that seems to add the indent at the end of the line instead up front. However no big issue. Regards.
Since updating Photoshop CC, when editing text so that the line spacing is set to a custom size rather than select a predefined value i the 'Character' panel, it jumps to a huge number and errors. I have tried multiple ways to set is manually but the only way I can get it to "work" is from selecting one of the drop down options which doesn't work for me.
For the original bug, the text must be transformed in order to trigger the problem. The bumping update was a known result of that fix, but the lesser of two evils.
