This should be resolved in the 19.0.1 update released last night.

Please update Photoshop using the Creative Cloud desktop app, and let us know if it's fixed for you!

Pete

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to reproduce this crash, could you give me some more info?

1.) Just to confirm, this is copying/pasting within the Frame Animation mode of the timeline, and not the Video Timeline mode.  Is this correct?

2.) Assuming this is the frame animation, does the crash occur with a particular Paste Method, or only when Link Added Layers is checked on?

3.) Do you have multiple layers in the document outside of the main video/animation layer itself?

Thanks for your help

Hi, to me it happens when I paste frames on the timeline (video) . My process is the following: I copy all frames and then I select th option paste frames, a box asking me if I want to paste the frames after the selection or where in want to paste them comes up. I select “paste after selection” and it just crashes... the dialogue box asking me to report ro apple comes up, and I did it several times, but still no reply.... thanks for helping, please fix it!

Thanks, Everyone.  Thanks, Viviana for more details on the workflow.  We can reproduce this and we're working on an update to fix this in the very near future.  Please stay tuned.

Unfortunately I can't confirm.
It works on macOS 10.12.6 Sierra but not on 10.13.1 High Sierra.

Hi Pete

I am experiencing the exact same problem, and am unable to update photoshop as it says that the software is up to date. Is there any other way of  adding a GIF into a still image without having to copy + paste frames into a timeline?

Thanks!
