P: History Log breaks after closing Photoshop

I have a couple users where the History Log stopped working after the update installed today.

If I disable the log then re-enable it it will work until Photoshop is closed. It will not log anything after Photoshop is relaunched though.

The app is set to auto update through the Creative Cloud launcher.

Does it matter what the settings are in the History Log preferences?

It might be worth doing a manual reset of the photoshop preferences so you can restore

the old preferences if it doesn't work.

Tried resetting the preferences and even clearing out the settings folder entirely.

After I turn on the log it works until I close Photoshop then it stops again.

I have been having the same issue. It has not been fixed in the recent several updates.
I cannot use the new version of PS because I use the log for all my billing since I switch between images for different jobs all the time.

I am still stuck on PS 24.4.1 since that is the last release that actually records the history log.

I cant belive that there is just no fix and noone seems to care at Adobe.
