With Photoshop 25, every time I start up PS, an image opens on my screen accompanied by a tuorial on generative ai by Anna McNaught. How to I disable this? I don't need it and I can't find a way to get rid of it.

I tried so many ways to stop the anoying tutorial : installing 25.0, deleting all my preferences, workspace with all my actions... Nothing work and I lost everything.

The only way to solve it is to downgrade to 2023 version, 24.7.2, before IA module I guess.

Hello again, I'm still here and I see that the issue persists. In my case, it has worsened a bit with an error that I'm not sure if others experience, but it's a huge "mess." When Ann's video starts or when I close the house image before the video loads, I'm left with a gray box where Ann should be floating, empty, and I can't remove it unless I close and reopen Photoshop.

In the end, we might have to request an AI to fix these issues. We just ask for a button that says "no tutorials."

Yes, same here. And sometimes I cannot open a file after closing the tutorial, menu is greyed out. I need to close PS and start over again or pick and open one from the latest used files to unlock the menu.

It's insane it isn't solved yet. If Adobe cannot do that should disable this annoying tutorial. It is not a free service, we are paying for it...

@Cicy35246387qrfu 3D features are been discontinued in Photoshop, if you want to continue using 3D features you can install version 22.2 which is available from the Creative Cloud app

@Cicy35246387qrfu generating normal maps requires the 3D engine which has been removed, if you go into the preferences you'll notice that the 3D panel has been removed, so there's no way that I'm aware of to generate normal maps in the current version.

You'll need to ask Adobe that question, you can have Photoshop 22.2 installed along with version 25.4

Just updated to 25.4 and the issue is still there, quite annoying.

@Pete.GreenChanging the OS username to fix a software issue is not an option for us and a questionable approach considering that it´s 2024. If you have no intention of fixing it for the users, fix it on Anna's behalf. Thank you!
