I've just downloaded the new photoshop update (22.01) and I noticed there is no classic red area when you change Brush size and feathering (when using keyboard shortcut OPTION+CONTROL).

it is quite frustrating

Thanks for reporting this issue. This issue was fixed in 22.1.1 which released late last night.

@ouioui_photo  idem sur mac Catalina. Bug du pinceau non résolu. Par contre, on retrouve la roue de sélection des couleurs.

Same problem for me.  The red preview doesn't work for v.22.0.1 and v.22.1  I had to go back to version 22.0

It's very frustrating...

Same problem her on the Mac version. Just updated to 22.1.0 still nothing. The only place I found it to work is inside the Liquify command.

Even in version 22.1, the brush HUD is not showing up; Adobe should fix this bug soon. Before adding "optimized export settings".
However, the eyedropper HUD now appears when using the brush tool.

yup. same issue here. Let alone the lasso lag when switching between lasso tool and polygon lasso tool using Alt key. Every update Adobe releases results in a instant rush of anxiety. What did they break this time. Unreal.

Ugh. How is this still not fixed? I'm being affected by this bug thousands of times every day and it's really impacting my productivity. How many more weeks do we need to wait?

Once again I had to switch back to 22.0 to get the red overlay working. A complete waste of time. Very frustrating !

Hi, From the Creative Cloud Desktop, select all App. Then on the installed App click the 3 dots on the right and select other versions. Make sure you have save your presets before switching back.

Uninstall Photoshop.

You will been asked, wether you want to keep your settings or not.

Choose the option which keeps them.

Then in Creative Cloud App click on the 3 dots after the Photoshop line.

Choose "Other Versions" an select "20.0".

After installation you should have an installed photoshop 20.0 with all your settings intact.

That's how it worked for me.

Good luck, and may Adobe finally fix this issue ASAP!

This applies to me too. I now run new and previous versions of Photoshop and only choose the latest one when I need the special features like neural filters and refine hair...

Please fix?

It's a known issue. Only solution for now: Deinstall 22.x.x with keeping your preferences – and install 21.x.x, while Adobe is trying to fix this.
