Hi @domenicoa16460157 ,

Can you also try disabling Preferences -> Performances -> Multithreaded Compositing?

Does it crash out completely and you see the Crash Reporter dialog? Or does it freeze and you have to force quit the app?

One thing to try:

Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

I have not fully tested, but inserting a new image in to the composition it's not more crashing, but it happens so strange things, for example outside the workarea remaing trace of a previous resize of image (i have to change zooming to remoove it). Please see image screenshot. I need to work safely so i go back to previous PS version.prova.jpg

Hi @domenicoa16460157 ,

I'm relieved to hear disabling Multithreaded Compositing resolved the issue.  Can you share the PSD which caused the crash with Multithreaded Compositing enabled?  Our engineers want to have that feature working for all Photoshop documents.  It would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi Andrew,

sure I can share the PSD, but I don't know here how to attach it. I've created a download link here, let me know if it's okay.
