P: Problem with photoshop video editing. Is this a BUG??

Hello there

1. Photoshop V 24.1
2. PC window 10

About 3 photoshop updates ago (roughly 5 months ago), I used to be able to convert video to smart object then use filter > camera raw filter to add some minor adjustments to it then go to file > export > render video.

However, now it just stops the rendering process EVERYTIME at about the 35% ~ 40% mark and not giving me an error message or anything. The video is obviously unuseable since the rendering process is not completed.

Can you please take a look to see what happen? Is this a bug or am i forced to rolled back to the previous version in order to do this?

This is a huge draw back for me since all I wanna do is adding some minor adjustment from camera raw filter to my video before rendering it. Any suggestion to overcome this issue would be greatly appreciated. I also attached my rendering setting below.

Just a quick clarification

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you for your suggestion. I did exactly as you suggested.

I went into edit > preferences > general > reset preferences on quit > completely quit photoshop > restart photoshop > did a trial run and the exact same thing happened.

Here is my system info. I really hope this issue / bug get resolve otherwise I will have to revert back to previous version of photoshop or worse use a different software to edit my video.

Thank you for the update @Artistocrat. To clarify, did you do the "manual" prefs reset or the reset on quit? They are two different ways and the manual method is the best to make sure nothing is left over that could cause this.

If you take Camera Raw Smart Filter out of the mix and just render video, does it work?

Yes without converting into smart object > apply camera raw filter adjustment it works just fine. I can render 20+ minutes videos and upload to youtube without any problem but it looks really bland without any adjustment.

MAC OS BIG SUR - VERSION 11.6.8

Photoshop 24.1.1

Hi, Since the new software update, I have had issues with the render video. It exports the video but when I play it, It froze after 4 seconds like it didn't export all frames and the video keeps running. I wonder if it's because my mac is too old but then what can I do? It was working fine before.
