P: Program error with actions that have save command in 24.3

After updating photoshop to 24.3.0 it throws a save error if I have a save in action.

    I am experiencing the exact same error as everyone else when running an action on Windows 11. The action was working fine before the update, and I am unable to complete my current job because of the error.

    Since updating to the lastest version, my automated actions have stopped working. It looks like it completes all of my recorded actions up until saving the file, then I receive the error message "An error was encountered while batching. Check the error log file for details." Has anyone else run into this issue and is there a fix?

    I am currently using Photoshop 24.3 (current version) and I get an error message, "Could not complete command because of program error" when using a "Save As" action. I've been using this action for quite a while with no problems. I have uninstalled 24.3 and reinstalled with the same result. I reverted to the previous version of Photoshop (24.2.1) and the action works fine. It appears there is some sort of glitch in the latest version of Photoshop. If anyone has experienced this and has a solution I would appreciate your input. Thanks so much.

    We have investigated the error, and it has also been found reproducible on our end. This is acknowledged and will be worked on by the team. Currently, we have a few users reporting this issue.

    Same error when batch processing. "Could not complete the command because of a program error."

    In PS 24.3.0 i get a "could not complete the command because og a program error" when using a custom action. The action opens a linked tiff file, does a couple of tweaks, saves the file and closes the file. The action runs untill the save where the error is displayed. The exact same action worked in the previous version of Photoshop. A workaround is to delete the save action and keep the close action. But the I'm prompted with tiff options before it closes

      After updating to V24.3.0, my action "Merge Visible and Save" no longer works. The action is very simple. It has two steps: Merge Visible Layers and Save File. The merge part works, but the Save File does not. I get an error message "Could not complete the comand because of a program error" and the action stops. I have tried redoing the action and the same error shows.

       

      I use a PC with the latest updates to the OS.

        Updated to 24.3 and now my actions that include a save operation now fail with a "Could not complete your request because of a program error." On MacOS.

          Which version of macOS are you on? What type of file are you working with? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

            @CShubert Window10, Window11 It happened to both happened.
            Also, even if I created a new action myself in 24.3 and ran it, it didn't work.
            Maybe the save command written to the action doesn't work at 24.3.
            24.2.1 is fine.
