Photoshop CC 3D view and UV view out of sync

So I'm trying to do some hand painted texturing in photoshop, but I'm making no progress because after about 30 seconds or so of working in either the 3D or 2D view, the views will stop updating with each other and they will be out of sync. I have yet to find a way to get them back on track, as saving the 2D texture file doesn't work and won't update the 3D view. It just gets rid of any changes I tried to make on the 2D view, either that or the program just crashes.

At the same time I'm also suffering from THIS issue, which appears to have never actually been solved.

These problems togeteher are making photoshop unusable for texturing at the moment for me, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Supply pertinent information for more timely and effective answers. The more information you supply about your issue, the better equipped other community members will be to answer. Consider including the following in your question:

  • Adobe product and version number
  • Operating system and version number
  • The full text of any error message(s)
  • What you were doing when the problem occurred
  • Screenshots of the problem
  • Computer hardware, such as CPU; GPU; the amount of RAM; etc.
  • Photoshop menu Help>system Info

I may not have your problem. There only seems to be some lag with brush strokes and both windows updating strokes on mt slow 2GHz machine.

All I have to do to get this error is end a brush stroke outside of the canvas when working on a texture of a 3D object. That is it.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

A little extra info from the system info in Photoshp:

Is any of this helpful?
