I do not have a Basic Folder in the Gradient Tool Picker.  I only have a choice of 6 presets. How do I get a full complement of presets?

Hello, Leslie, the default gradients are now stored in groups, to show you it is possible to group your favorites ones. They now live in the Gradients panel. You can retrieve the old ones by going to the Gradients panel (NOT IN THE OPTION BAR) and selecting its local (burger) menu and selecting "legacy gradients"

You need to go through the Gradient panel, not the option bar. The various panels function as a replacement for the old Preset Manager. I described how to do this in this thread. Just look int the panel menu, as PECourtejoie said.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're here to help.

Which version of Photoshop are you using? Would you mind sharing more details on what exactly you mean by basic folder in gradient tool picker? Are you referring to these presets?

In addition to the gradients that come with Photoshop, you can find others on the web. Just one example: https://www.brusheezy.com/gradients/22888-32-photoshop-gradients-for-photoshop
