As a workaround for anyone else who is stuck and needs a quck solution, with a selection active, use Select > Transform Selection

EDIT: An old script here

This looked familiar…I did a search and this problem has come up before, such as in this link:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/bug-in-rectangle-marquee-tool/m-p/15251747

If your version of Photoshop is fully updated, then I’m not sure what the cause is, unless that bug is back and needs to be fixed again in a future update.

For some reason I cannot reply to any comments on this thread. i do have a screenshot above in my post. The only style that appears in the drop down is import image and generate. Reverting to 26.7 brought everything back so it is def a bug.

You guys are missing the two boxes. LOL

In Untitled_5.jpg, Width is covered by the Generate Image popup, and Height is to the right.

in "Here?" Width and Height are to the right of the red rectangle around Style.

If you are talking about the tiny pop-up when dragging out a selection, then that mig ht be turned off in Preferences > Tools.

You can set Normal/Fixed Ratio/Size from the Options Bar

I feel sure that you've found that though.

Hi @Trevor.Dennis,
I think you have the right assumption. 'Show transformation values' could actually be what the op is looking for.

That is where it has been for years. I no longer have that option. I might need to uninstall and go back to the previous version. Unreal.

@Curtis30309543gko3,

Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing and what version of Photoshop you're using? You can find this by going to Help > System Info.
