Our use of Siteimprove app indicates that to raise our SEO numbers, we need to use AVIF files (instead of .jpg, .png or webp) Is anyone else finding Adobe support for this — a maker or converter? What do you think?

@Lumigraphics why are you shouting? This is a pretty well known practice adopted by many companies including Adobe (using Smart Imaging through Adobe Experience Manager)to serve Webp or AVIF instead of jpg or png for site to improve analytic scores. The OP is simply asking if there is a way to use Photoshop to convert to AVIF. The plugin provided does that.

@Kevin StohlmeyerThat link is no longer valid. Is there a plugin which adds AVIF support for both MacOS and Windows? I am only aware of Windows support (and that plugin has limited support for HDR).
Ultimately, we need to see this natively supported in Photoshop. AVIF is now supported by all relevant web browsers (as of last month MS Edge has native support by default). Appreciate your link below to help consolidate this discussion around that main AVIF thread.

A standalone converter would be of limited value over existing Adobe tools (we can already export via LR and ACR, though there is no support for transparency). The goal here is more than just creating an AVIF. Having native support in PS would support more sophisticated batch operations and actions, integration with plugins, and ultimately should be the basis for advanced HDR exports.
