P: Add option to disable ALT/OPT + Click 'Zoom to layer' behavior

Going to go back to the previous version of PS until there is a way to turn this off or it's changed or eliminated. Seems someone at Adobe forgot that holding "Alt" while clicking a layer group is how we collapse/expand layers! Now when I try to collapse a layer group the whole thing zooms???? No bueno, Adobe.

That link does nothing, it shows a page with text and a drop-down menu. That menu redirects us back to the Community?!

I am here because I absolutely ***HATE*** this so called function. ADOBE, let us disable this stupid-as-H-E-double-toothpicks annoyance. I Alt-click layer eyeballs probably a hundred times a day or more to compare lighting, and accidentally trigger this STUPID 'feature' 30-40% of the time. I want this to go away.

Please add such an option in the (Layer) "Panel Options". It is easy-peasy for you, isn't it?

Landed at this page because this has been a workflow disruptor for me for quite awhile now. It is beyond maddening. WHY this functionality was ever rolled out in the first place is baffling. TenTin's suggestion above is perfect and seems like such an easy fix. Hopefully in some future update this will get solved.

Can you please specify where precisely that information exists on the very long page you provided?

Without that, answers like yours a not helpful and only waste time.

I even did a search on that page for the word "zoom" with no hits.

1) This feature is very disruptive. Please make an option to turn it off or delete this "feature" from Photoshop.

2) I see this goes way back.... 5 years. Does adobe ever read these? Or does adobe ever google this issue to see how many people complain about this but don't post on the adobe bug site?

PLEASE fix this! I just did it again a couple days ago. It is one of the most worthless "functions" in all Adobe products – and one that actually derails your workflow. "Features" should not be things you accidentally invoke, make you frustrated and angry, and disrupt your wokflow while you stop working to undo the thing you just accidentally triggered.
