Please add a polygonal lasso tool for PS on iPad. Or implement a lasso tool as Adobe Fresco has. Right now it is pretty challenging to make straight selections with available tools. So I find myself using Fresco instead of Photoshop whenever I can.
I have been testing out the iPad version of Photoshop and getting framiliar it's interface and commands but I can't seem to find the polygonal lasso tool. Surely they didn't leave out such a simple and constantly used tool. What am I missing?
I don't have it in front of me but if I remember correctly it should be on the left bar (with all the tools) as one of the drop-down options. Hold down the "Marquee" tool and a few options should appear. I believe it was Rectangle, lasso, and ellipse. I can take a screenshot tomorrow morning if you don't find it by then.

I see the lasso tool but I am specifically looking for the Polygonal lasso tool which is different than the regular lasso tool and is used to select objects with straight but irregular length sides. It is one of my most used tools on the desktop version but I don't see it anywhere in the ipad version.

When you're right, your right! That's on me, I read this late last night and omitted the "polygonal" part. I don't see it there either. There are quite a few tools missing right now. I got my hands on this at Adobe MAX and had a chance to talk to the devs. They're very open to feedback so I'd drop them a note in the "tell us what you think".
We can transition to the desktop when we need those other tools but it would be nice to have that natively.
That was the first tool I looked for!! This is crazy!! Your query was posted Nov 6th 2019 & it is now March 25th 2020 & still no Polygonal Lasso? So Photoshop on iPad is useless as far as i'm concerned. The rep answering "Pattie-F" is playing dumb!! & whoever is in charge of features is too!
I bought my iPad Pro to use photoshop and illustrator. All I use in photoshop is the polygon lasso tool and it is missing on the iPad. Please add this soon. My iPad is a paperweight until then.
Just bought my iPad two weeks ago and I'm completely shocked that the iPad version is lacking this feature. It's absolutely necessary for anyone! It's unbelievable that we'are in November 2023 and it's still missing.

I literally just bought my Ipad yesterday, intalled photohsop and searched for the polygonal lasso tool. I thought I was going crazy until I googled this thread. I see I'm not the only one who is upset about the polygonal lasso being misssing
Has this been remedied yet? I'd love to use polygonal marquee on iPad as well. It's a distinctive look for drawing that I can't duplicate (user error?). Just sayin'
I just realized Illustrator for iPad has the pen feature, which mimics the poly-marq -- so I can use that for some illustrations and move into photoshop? I haven't tested that leg, might not be necessary. cheers!
