FEATURE REQUEST: HALF DROP OPTION IN PATTERN PREVIEW

I would really love to see the option of a half drop pattern preview. This would be really beneficial for surface pattern designers. other options like in illustrator would be nice too, but half drop is the one i believe would benefit most.

I often have to use clunky workarounds which ruin my work flow

Yes I am aware. I use it daily, but what I would like to see is an option to see my pattern repeat in a half drop rather than a straight repeat. The option is avaliable in Illustrator. but not Photoshop
