Restore the Resolution box for the standard crop tool. Taking this away was not a good idea and adds to the workflow. Also would give consistency with the perspective crop tool which indeed does have the Resolution Box
OK ...... So CC stands for creative cloud. ..... I do not have creative cloud. What are my alternatives to get resolution in the crop tool for PS as it has been for the past 15 plus years?
At one time Adobe committed to fix bugs in CS6, well to a point they did. But this really bad decision to cripple the crop tool did not make it. If it was so easy to fix in CC why not CS6? Trying nudge us to the CC model? - Sure feels like it.
This is one of the worst moves Adobe has made with Photoshop - and guess what, it was realized it was a big mistake as it was fixed in CC - but ignored the CS6 users who who complained. Sad state of affairs......
Unfortunately Chris, the solution you propose here is one of the reasons I am staying with CS6 and not migrating to your cloud product. The functionality existed in CS5 broke in CS6 and the solution - upgrade to CC - feels like bait and switch to me. No rather than upgrade I will simply use CS5 🙂
Just like you Michael, I am very angry that Adobe chose to omit such a basic function, that has one, been available for at least 15 years and two is available on the CC version made after CS6. ....... If there is one small consolation, I have now figured out an easy way to remember the short cut for resolution, ......... "R" for "R sole"
