Hello, I was wondering if you guys could take the 'Save for Web' out of the Legacy column (found under file/export/save for web. I use this feature contantly because it's the only one I can manipulate enough to consolidate a 48mb file down to a 1mb file and not lose any of the quality in the picture. I'm so afraid you guys are going to take that away and I'll be forced to work with huge files only. Thanks for listening!
There is "Export As" which is the replacement for the very old SFW code base. However, Export development seems to have halted, and it's still buggy and lacks key features. I also still use Save For Web - it may be old, but it's reliable.
They have promised us that they won't take away Save For Web until Export has all the features. The most crucial still missing is actionability. Export has also had buggy color management for years, one thing fixed, another thing breaks.
