Why can't the Photoshop Pen tool be more like the Illustrator Pen tool?

I've been a long-time Photoshop user since PS07. I really wish the pen tool in photoshop behaved much like the pen tool in Illustrator. It is often difficult to create precise curb lines in Photoshop because the handles don't behave anything similar to Illustrator. I can further explain if an Adobe representative responds to this post. Thank you

Hi, @Phil Sison I once wanted to post the opposite suggestion: for Ai pen tool to behave like Ps's.

Deke McClelland made an excellent video about the pen tool in all the Adobe apps: https://www.linkedin.com/learning/adobe-pen-tool-mastery

Maybe do we need a switch: behave like Ps/Ai in both apps?

Hi. I think the Pen tool in Photoshop works quite similarly to the Pen tool in Illustrator. What do you need to do?
