Can't create custom brush with PNG file...HELP!

I'm new to Paint shop Pro and I'm trying to create a custom brush. Every time I do this, I open the file, use command + A to select the area I'd like to use, then I go to the edit menu to press "Define Brush," but each time  I do this, the option is still grayed out. I'm not sure if I'm missing a step. Any suggestions?

You need to go to PaintShop Pro: Photo Editing Software by Corel to get help for that program, not ask in an Adobe forum

I actually meant to say Photo Shop, as I've become so used to saying Paint Shop it's an easy mistake. I'm transitioning from Paint Shop to Photo Shop as I now have a Mac instead of a Windows PC. I ended up finding the answer to my question anyway, but thanks for the link!
