Cursor is invisible in Elements 2023

Suddenly my cursor is invisible in Elements 2023. Help, please.

(I have seen post re: elements organizer. not applicable and didn't help)

Try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.

    Hello. I have just installed Adobe Elements 2023 for Mac OSX (Ventura). Starts up fine and I started working on a photo but cannot really see the cursor. I can see it when it outside the photo but it fades to nothing when trying to work on the photo. I do not see a drop down for Edit - Preferences and maybe it si different on a Mac version? Any ideas?
