Elements 2020 Won't Install on New Computer

Elements 2020 will not install on my new computer. The installer reads 1%, 2%, and jumps to 100% in about 4 seconds total. It says it's installed, but it's nowhere to be found. I logged out of elements 2020 on my old computer, but it still doesn't work. I'm installing from the download link on my Adobe account page. Any suggestions short of a .32 at point-blank range will be appreciated. Thanks.

change the directory where it is getting installed to.

What OS are you using?

Did you restore any backup from your old computer to your new one?

Try uninstalling the program and starting again. Remove all preference files if offered the opportunity to do so.

Hi, Greg. I'm on Win 11. Previous machine was Win 10. I can't uninstall the program and reinstall because there "ain't no program to uninstall." At least that's what my HitBit uninstaller said. Then, I checked the computer search engine, Everything. It found several elements executables, which I have since deleted. I wouldn't know how to restore the elements from the old machine to the new one. I didn't know you could do that. I'll look into it further. Meanwhile, once my computer was absolutely clean of all elements executables, I tried downloading again with the same result. Weird. Frustrating.
