fault when trying to create a new project

When I open up Adobe photoshop and try to create a new project, as from the moment I press 'make' it gives me a fault where it says: 'Cannot create a new project'. I am using the free trial of adobe photshop 21.

Is there anyting I can do to prevent this from happening?
