How to Restore Undo and Redo buttons in toolbar at bottom?

I somehow lost the Undo and Redo buttons at the bottom of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, and for the life of me can't figure out how to bring them back. (I'm using PSE 18 with Windows 10, but I recollect having the same problem a few versions ago.)

Try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button. If that doesn't fix it, please give us a screenshot of the toolbar.
