Problem with color management. Colors oversatured after export

Hi,

I'm using Photoshop Elements 2019 and do have a problem with the color mangement.

When I import the photos taken from my camera in sRGB jpeg everything is fine in PS Elements. All the picture editing with auto contrast and auto tonal are working perfect in the programm.

After exporting the pic again as jpeg I get totaly oversaturated colors when opening it with the standard windows picture viewer.

The problem seems to have something to do with the color management. When I convert it to Adobe RGB in PSE and export it in Adobe RGB everything is fine and the colors in Windows picture viewer are exactly like in PSE. But for me it makes no sense to convert all the pictures to Adobe RGB because original they are in sRGB and I want to keep them compatible with everything.

Does anybody has an idea what I could do about it?

Maybe its important for the topic: I am using a Thinkpad W510 with an X-Rite Colorimeter. Maybe the calibration is doing some stuff in the windows color mangement which causes the problem.

Thank you for the help!

If you want to keep the color profile as sRGB, I think you need to set the Edit>Color Settings to Always Optimize Colors for Computer Screens:

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I already tested it with the setting you recomended in your screenshot (it was also the default setting). With this it did not work. The colors are really disgusting after the export, much darker and oversaturated.

The only way I found out is to choose "No color Management". Here the colors are correct after the export but I am not sure if I get other problems with this setting. In the windows picture program and on my TV the colors are correct so I hope I can live with this.
