photoshop elements 15 - installer has detected that a machine restart may be pending. It is recommended that you quit the installer, restart your machine and try installing again. I have done this 2 times and still get this.

Just ignore it and continue with the installation of PSE15. I was getting as well but I ignored it.

Same thing here. I am asking for refund. You can't ignore it. Even after you pass it and "install", I get message that it might be a pirated version and to contact customer support. Opened a claim with PAYPAL and they will refund $$ if Adobe does not resolve issue by 12/25. I suggest anyone who paid via Paypal or their credit card do the same. Spent over an hour with this crap and customer service sucks. Should have just bought the disk at Best Buy. Installed older version for which I own disk and it installed beautifully. I just bought a new computer and thought to upgrade to newest PS Elements 15- very disappointed! NO HELP TO DATE

And.. paypal checked out phone numbers and contact info and it is NOT a pirated version- it does belong to Adobe, so it is theirs to fix or I will be getting my money refunded.. one of the best things about paypal, they always side with the buyer and protect your purchases.
For now , using old Elements 7 which I bought years ago. Works fine, just wish I could have easily upgraded.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you have the serial number with you, can you please try downloading PSE15 from here https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-downloads.html
Download Photoshop Elements | 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10
If you get a warning that machine reboot is pending while trying to install, please click on Ignore and continue with the installation process.
Let us know if it helps.
Thanks,
Anwesha

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I chatted with an Adobe tech who went to my command prompt and reset my winsock. Then I installed the programs hitting IGNORE on the error about the pending restart. Both Photoshop Elements 15 and Premiere Elements 15 programs installed and worked perfectly.
