Save metadata to file

When I try to "Save metadata to file" to more then 67 files simultaneously, the command is greyed. Am I doing something wrong?

As far as I know, there is no limit to the number of files you can add metadata to. I have done this with many thousands of files. I have never seen a similar issue. So, the command is NOT greyed when you try with less than 57 items?

That's right. For a 'small' number of files, it operates as expected.

I'm beginning to think that reinstaling PSE might be a shortcut to eliminate this behaviour.
