Where do I find the dark mode in Photoshop Elements 2023?
It is driving me nuts looking at a white screen.
I use the version from the Windows Store.
Thank you!

I also wourld prefer the dark mode. A new feature "dark mode" in PSE 2024 would be a reason to buy that version. Currently I use PSE 2022.

DEFINITELY needs a Dark Mode!!! Can't stand all this white/light colors.
Photoshop and Illustrator has dark moded windows and palettes, this needs it too.
I tried to find the Feedback link, but this https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html doesn't offer much.

Has this issue been resolved since asked?
If so, please share because the white background drives me nuts also.

I've just found you can change the default panel colours by holding down ctrl, shift and f1. Holding it down and pressing it multiple times changes the gradient. You can reset the panels by holding down ctrl, shift & f2. Pressing that multiple times also changes the gradient.
This is working off a PC by the way. I hope it helps.

I just gave you suggestions a try- It Turns parts of the menu black- totally unusable, I can't imagine anyone would find it helpful- it's only going to confuse people, not help them.

You can change into dark mode (which requires a restart of the editor) in your preference file. or click on the little crescent moon in the upper right corner.

As the upgrade from Photoshop Elements\Premiere Elements 2023 to 2024 is £107 compared to £130 for buying the product I won't be bothering with 2024 any time soon. I was hugely disappointed when I found there was no dark mode option in the 2023 versions (when virtually every other competitor had provided this feature for some time) so I feel this is a sneaky move by Adobe to force people who need this feature to upgrade rather than updating 2023.

I understand. I was a user of Photoshop for many years, but I hate and can't afford the high-priced subscription-only method they moved to for using new versions of that software. So for me, switching to Photoshop Elements works because it has most of the functionality of Photoshop and the option to not have the monthly/yearly subscription. If I had to spend a one-time upgrade fee for software that I can use for the next 5+ years, then I'll do it. Especially with the dark mode... it bothered me that much.
Also, another thing to consider... There is no telling if Adobe will make Photoshop Elements subcription only... So I decided to get it now, before that posibility can happan. (I really do hate subscription-based software that much.)
