Will the latest PE work on my Desktop that only has 4GB RAM?

I guess this is the latest version:

Photoshop Elements 2022 update (version 2022.3)

I want to upgrade my PE19 to that, but the requirement sheet says I need 8GB. Is that a hard and fast thing or is it chances are it will work with only the 4GB? Thanks

It's easy enough to find out. Download the 30 day free trial. No need to uninstall your prior version. Both programs can coexist on the same machine.
