Linear Wipe effect not working as expected on clip not matching sequence resolution.

The Linear Wipe video effect does not work as expected on a clip that doesn't match sequence resolution. I.e. a 640x480 clip in a 1920x1080 sequence. When applying the effect, nothing happens for values 0-99 of wipe completion, but at 100 the whole clip disappears. However, if I nest the clip and put the Linear Wipe effect on it, it works as expected.

Hi Magnus,

We are aware of this issue with Linear Wipe and are working on a fix for it.

LATEST

Can you try out Linear Wipe effect in the latest build of Premiere Pro Beta (version 22.2.0.101 or later)? The issue you mentioned should be fixed now. And apart from few other bug fixes, Linear Wipe now supports GPU acceleration for smoother playback and faster exports.
