We’re always looking for ways to make it faster and easier for you to create and publish your content. Now in Premiere Pro (beta), we’re introducing new export destinations with direct integration for posting to popular video and social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

This is in addition to our existing support for Facebook, Vimeo, X, and YouTube. Simply log-in to your video and social media accounts from right inside Premiere Pro (beta). You can create your posts, add captions, hashtags, and keywords, and then upload them directly without ever having to leave Premiere Pro. All without compromising quality or the ranking of your videos!

Here’s an overview of the new features and what you can publish to each platform:

  • TikTok (new) You can now export your Premiere Pro video as a TikTok draft or publish directly to TikTok.
  • Facebook: Along with the existing ability to Post to Facebook pages, you can now publish your Premiere Pro videos directly to Facebook pages as Reels.
  • YouTube: In addition to the existing capability to publish your videos directly from Premiere Pro to YouTube, if the video meets YouTube Shorts specification it will automatically be posted as a Short.

How to Export Directly to Each Platform

When you’re ready to upload your video to your platform of choice, you can do so in a few simple steps from the export panel in Premiere Pro.

  1. Click on the sequence and select File > Export > Media. You can also simply click on the Export tab at the top left of the UI. Note: There are also project templates for social media to ensure you have the right social media video parameters. Upon new project creation navigate to project templates (next to project location in Import Mode).
  2. Toggle on the destination of choice under the Publish section and log in to the video and social media platforms you would like to upload to. You can toggle on multiple destinations.
  3. Choose your export settings (the H.264 format and the Match Source – Adaptive High Bitrate preset are the best options for social media)
  4. Enter any additional information you want to include, such as titles, hashtags and a description.
  5. Click Export. After the file has been exported, it will automatically and simultaneously be published straight to the video and social media platform(s) with the right specifications.

Create. Edit. Caption. Export.

When used along with new project templates designed specifically for social media and automatic transcription and captioning, we think this will simplify your workflow and make it easier than ever to create and share content across platforms.

Try new Export to Social options in Premiere Pro (beta) today and let us know what you think and what else you’d like to see in the comments.

I get that this is a feature that can easily be ignored, but as a "Pro" app this in general is bad practice. You should always QC your video after export before uploading it. There are so many export settings and things that could happen on export that its paramount to check the file before it gets published!

Not to re-open old wounds but many of us would rather see the old export dialog return vs adding more stuff like this.

Totally agree. There should be both options for experts who are that confident to just fire it off into the world, but I'd prefer to check it first and them publish it when I want to.

Hi! I usually use this tool to export directly to YouTube and it works perfectly, but I've tried to log in to Facebook to export directly to the platform and I receive this message. How can I solve it?

Many thanks.

Absolute novice here. It works out well when I want to publish directly to FB, but now I don't want that: I want to export for FB but not publish it right away. How do I turn the feature off? Halp! 🙂
