Hello! I recently updated to 2024 Premiere Pro, but now all my stereo audio is changing to mono though I think I have set all the channels correctly (see screenshots). The file itself is stereo in the Preview Source, but when I add it to the timeline, it changes. I just can't figure out why! I basically am doing the same thing I always did, but now it Isn't working. Is there a new setting in 2024 that I need to turn off or on to make it work?

Premiere Pro 2024:  Version 24.2.1 (Build 2)

Mac OS Sonoma: Version 14.1.2

Thanks for your help!

In the Preferences/Audio, what is Premiere set to do with incoming audio?

I think you need to check that and change it.

As information ... most pro audio people don't want stereo, as dual mono is the preferred type in pro workflows.
